The Answerer

This is from the story I told of Joseph in Genesis Chapters 37 to 50.
They sold their brother for several reasons. God wanted Joseph in Egypt for an important task later on. His brothers hated him because Joseph was now Dad’s favourite, after the gift of the ‘coat of many colours’. Also, Joseph had told them that in two separate dreams that people would bow down to him – including them! They really hated the idea of them bowing down to Joseph, but they did, 22 years later. The Bible puts in the good, the bad and the ugly – it's about real people.
