Q9: If you think God is real why can’t we stay young?

Fairly simple really. When we are young we think we will live forever – death does not come into our thoughts. The Bible says: “A man’s life is 70 years and 80 if he is fortunate.” When you get old we get tired of living. Some just want to die because life can be hard. Some want to live here forever – I do not!

However a quiet, young person has written this – and would like to stay young. Really all our stages of life need to, and must change. Why?

We eventually get bored and soon (because you are around 11 to 12 years old) girls or boys will be important to you.

Within a few years a particular girl,or boy, will look to you like a good person to marry.

Later a couple naturally would like a family – children.

Later, as your beautiful children grow up and marry…grandchildren mostly come into your life. You will love that.

This is a life-cycle plan that occurs to most people and the older you get the more tired you become until disease and sickness may come and take your life. Christians are happy to die. I have known a few too.

So, again I say, our life here is like a kindergarten or school, to get us to know God and look forward to being in heaven with God for eternity, for ever.

Another reason is that parents and grandparents love to see the child growing – and so take many photos to show others and often brag as to how great their growing child is. I see this a lot – and I believe God wanted it that way.
